Olympus RS-27 USB & Serial Transcription Foot Pedal

The Olympus RS-27 (147036) footswitch is offered as a replacement footswitch for the one supplied with the AS-2300 series or AS-4000 series Transcription kits. Control playback, FF and REW without taking your fingers off of the keyboard!

Please note the RS-27 does not come with DSS software required to utilize this footswitch. If you need DSS software with footswitch functionality we recommend you purchase the PC Transcription Kit (AS-2300) or AS-4000 Transcription kit. Both kits contain a version of the DSS software that has footswitch functionality, the RS-27 footswitch, and the E-102 headset. We recommend the AS-4000 kit for business transcription. The DSS Player Pro software included in the AS-4000 kit is geared for someone who needs to track the progress of multiple files or customers such as in an office situation. The software provided in the AS-2300 kit is geared for someone who usually transcribes for one person.

You can also use the RS-27- with the DS-4000 / DS3300 For Hands Free Dictation Only. Connecting to the DS-4000/DS3300 USB cradle: Hands free recording is possible while the DS-4000 is the cradle. Use the footswitch to control recording or playback functions of the recorder.

Note : This Foot Pedal will work only with Version 4 (AS-4000) and Version 7 (AS-2300) , will NOT work with Old Olympus Transcription Module AS-3000 & AS-2000.
