Headset solutions are becoming more and more common in conjunction with a PC for various desktop utilities such as web telephony, voice recognition and voice dictation. In response to this growing demand, we have designed the GN 8050 TCA. With the built-in PC/telephone switch, you simply use one headset for both the telephone and PC. GN 8050 TCA is compatible with most audio devices.

• Battery Save Switch: - Designed to conserve battery power by putting the amplifier into sleep mode when it is sitting idle for more than two minutes. The circuit design allows the amplifier to awaken under several selectable conditions:
  • Setting A:
  Battery save feature is on. Amplifier is activated by the receive (incoming) audio.
  • Setting B:
  Battery save feature is on. Amplifier is activated by the receive (incoming) or the transmit (microphone) audio.
  • Setting C:
  Battery save feature is off. Amplifier runs continually. If using this setting, it is recommended that the Headset/Handset switch be put in the handset position when the headset is not in use in order to save the battery.
• A beeping noise in the headset indicates that the batteries are low.
• Transmit Volume Control - Adjust the transmit volume control until the other party can hear you clearly (1 is the softest, 8 is the loudest)
